| Luis Fernández Hebrero was born in Torrejón de Ardoz, Madrid in 1958, and still lives and works in his home town. He spends the summers in a small mountain village, Campillo de Ranas, where he paints surrounded by the nature.
Since Hebrero was a child he felt attracted to nature and also to art. He started to study Biology at the prestigious University of Alcalá de Henares in Madrid but during travels to Paris, Amsterdam, Rome, Florence, Milano and Venice, he decided to devote all his time to art.
